Piano Lessons for All Ages
A curriculum is custom designed for each student. Performance, practice techniques, theory, music history, composition, expressive interpretation, and playing in ensembles are taught in an age appropriate way for every level.
Private Lessons
Private lessons take place every week except Master Class weeks. Students learn technic, repertoire and expressive performance.
Recitals
Two recitals are offered each year: one in the fall and one in the spring. Students are encouraged to participate in both, but only one is required.

Master Class
On Master Class week, there are no private lessons. Students are grouped by age and enjoy fun games, learning activities, and performing for each other in a positive environment.
Other Performance Opportunities
Students can choose to participate in festivals, recitals, and competitions. Many are offered through Charlottesville Music Teachers Association and Wednesday Music Club, though other sources are available!
