Music for Young Children
MYC is a group class curriculum created to build and sustain a wide and firm foundation in music education, appreciation, and performance for young children. Students learn to play the piano, read music, compose, and play in ensembles. This program is the starting point of creating a solid, educated, and well-balanced musician.
Sunrise
Age 2
Students attend group class with their grown-up. This is a general musicianship curriculum that prepares for playing the piano in Sunshine 1! No homework/practice is required.

Sunbeams 1, 2, and 3
Ages 5 and 6 beginners
Students attend group class with their grown-ups most of the time. This curriculum takes place both at the keyboard and in circle time and moves at a faster pace. Homework/practice is required with less supervision as students move through the levels.

Sunshine 1 and 2
Ages 3 and 4 beginners
Students attend group class with their grown-up. This curriculum takes place both at the keyboard and in circle time in the classroom. Homework/practice is required.
Moonbeams 1, 2, and 3
Ages 7, 8, and 9 beginners
Students attend group class. Grown-ups attend about half of the classes with their student. Keyboard and circle time are both used in this fastest-paced curriculum. Homework/practice time is required with grown-up supervision decreasing as students advance.
